Cabbage Au Gratin The lowly cabbage comes into its own when given just a few trim- mings : 4 cups cooked cabbage, cut in small pieces 2 cups hot white sauce (made from 4 tablespoons each of flour and butter, two cups of milk and a dash of salt and pepper). Yi cup grated American cheese 'A cup buttered bread crumbs Put cabbage in greased casserole. Add cheese to white sauce and stir until melted. Pour over cabbage. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
