Mrs. Burtis Newton , Jr., of Haw- kins Avenue, Lake Ronkonkoma , was matron-of-honor for her sister. She wore a cocktail-length gown of powder blue net over taffeta decorated with sequins. The skirt was bouffant and the fitted bodice bad a round neckline. She wore a white hat and carried a bouquet of white carnations. - Leslie Jacobsen of Lake Ron- konkoma , a cousin of the bride , was best man. Raymond Shaw of Centereach , an uncle of the bride- groom, was the usher. Following the wedding cere- mony, a reception was held in the Farmingville Fire House for 75 guests where a buffet supper was served. Mrs. Thomas is a graduate of Port Jefferson High School and is employed as a medical attendant at Pilgrim State Hospital. Mr. Thomas is also a graduate of Port Jefferson High School and is employed by a mason contrac- tor. He has completed 10 years in the National Guard. The couple drove through upper New York State , Connecticut , New Jersey and Pennsylvania on their wedding trip and are now making their home on Lincoln Avenue in Holbrook. A crown of seed pearls held her fingertip veil of French illusion and she carried a white Bible on which was a cas- cade of white roses and a stephan- otis with a removable corsage. Miss Nancy L. Huether of Pat- chogue , a siste r of the bride , was maid-of-honor. She wore a gown of white embossed nylon over deep pink net and taffeta. The gown had a wide deep satin cummerbund and a bouffant skirt. She wore a matching pink veiled crown with seed peails. She carried a colonial bouquet of pale p ink roses , deep pink carnations and baby ' s breath. The bridesmaids were Miss Joan Gotimer. Miss Judith Klinger and Miss Kathea Bishop, all of Pat- chogue . Their gowns were the same as the maid-of-honor ' s only white over pale pink and they wore pale pink crowns. They car- ried colonial bouquets of deep pink loses and light pink carnations and babv ' s breath. Watren Chamberlain of Pat- chogue , a brother of the bride- gioom , was best man. The ushers were Dean Chamberlain of Pat- chogue. another brother of the bridegroom , Elbert Gage and Henry Jones of East Patchogue. A reception for the close friends and relatives was held at the home of the bnde ' s parents on Oak Street , Patchogue. About 70 were present. Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlain left for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and upstate New York. They will reside m Geneva.
