Instead of their usual bus- iness meeting they held a surprise stork shower in honor of Mrs. Glo- ria Richter of Mastic Acres who is vice president and treasurer of the socjety. A bassinet , overflowing with gifts , was p laced before the guest-of-honor ' s chair. The buffet tables were decorated with small storks and blue and pink carriag- es were at each place as candy holders. A shower cake in the shape of an umbrella was decorat- ed with pastel yellow and green icing and was made and decorated by Mrs. Robert DeCordova. Clune Post 1533 of the American Legion is holding its annual in- stallation dinner-dance Saturday beginning at 8:30 p. m. at the Shirley Taxpayers Association clubhouse at the foot of Grand- view Avenue in Shirley. Music for dancing will be supplied by the Nite Caps with Mae Chimes as featured vocalist. Joseph M'orizzo is chairman with Peter Moi\ano as co-chairman of the dance committee. GOODFELLOWS CLUB On Sunday the Goodfellows Social Club met at Ed' s Riviera for their annual nomination and election of officers for the 1961- 62 term. Mulcahy of Terry Court , Center Moriches , that teenagers \just don ' t tit\ in a g iven social situation his inevitable question is. \Where do they fit?'' becking the answer to his question , Mr. Mulcahv , u rigger at Brookhaven National Laboratory, has g iven generousl y of hi* *pare lime tor many years , dividing his interests between Little Leagu e baseball and a 14-p iece teenage dance band , \The Swinging Shep- herds , \ which he organized in 1959. \A teenager is the most won- derful person in the world , \ says Mr . Mulcahy with great convic- tion. \He or she is at the most important juncture in life , and a chance to use talent in the ri ght direction can make all the dif- ference in the world. \ Center Moriches residents know Mr. Mulcah y as one of the build- ers of Center Moriches Little League baseball from the ground up. He is coach of the Braves . His dance band has performed at the Westhampton Air Force Base O fficers ' Club , the Henry Perkins Hotel in Riverhead and on ' ¦ ¦ television.
