Given in marriage by her fa then the bride wore a fJ.odr-lehgt 'h gown with long Chantill y lace sleeves , a lace bodice \with seed pearl trimming, arid a doubl e tulle skirt over bridal ivory satin with a chapel train. Her veil was fingertip circlet style attached to a pearl studded 1 crown. She car- ried a bouquet of white roses , stephanotis and a white orchid center. The maid-of-honor was Miss Gertrude Aug of Blue Point. Her ballerina-length gown of lavender organdy had a fitted bodice and bouffant skirt. Her headpiece was a tulle circlet with floral topknots and she carried a basket of sum- mer ' flowers in shades of p ink. The bridesmaid s were Miss Gail Hammer of Patchogue , the bride- groom ' s sister , who wore a gown like that of the maid-of-honor but in pastel green organd y with headp iece in green , Miss Aug of Blue Point , who also wore a similar gown in pastel p ink with pink headpiece and Mrs. Ed- win Schwaner of Patchogue who wore a blue pastel gown and bide 'head piece. All carried a basket of ¦summer flowers in pastel color. The flower girl was Eva Marie Chuchiolo of Patchogbe , who wore a blue organdy short dres with a pastel blue ' wreath of siimmer flowers on her head and carried a basket of blue summer flowers . Charles Perry of Patchogue was the best mail and the ushers were Thomas Stapleton of Hunt- ing ton Station , Alex Nejelski of Patchogue , Kurt Hammer , of Pat- chogue , the bridegroom ' s brother and Gary Anderson of Bayport , brother of the bride. A reception was held at Land' s End in Sayville for 115 guests. Mrs. Hammer is a graduate of Bayport Hi gh School and the Long Island Beaut y School in Hempstead and she was employed in the Bay Shore Beauty Parlor. Her husband is a graduate of Patchogue High School and is em- ployed as a field engineer for AVCO Corporation. Mr. and Mrs. Hammer are on a motor trip to Florida and on their return wil make their home in Stratford , Conn., where Mr. Hammer is employed. Francis de Sales R. C. Church , Patchosrue. The Rev. Patrick McHugh per- formed the ceremony in the pres- ence of 150 guests. \ Given in marriage by her fa- ther , the bride wore a full-length gown of white silk organza over pale pink taffeta. The fitted bod- ice and full skirt were trimmed with peau de soie lace and seed pearls. The gown had long pointed sleeves , a bow type bustle and a chapel train. A scalloped crown of seed pearls and sequins on pleated illusion held her fingertip veil of French illusion. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses and carnations edged with lil y-of- the-valley with white streamers trimmed with rosebuds. Miss Lea Haab of Patchogue was maid-of-honor. Her gown was of light pink chiffo n over pink- taffeta , floor-length , and having a scoop neckline. She wore a matching horsehair picture hat with a crown of flowers. She carried a colonial bouquet of dark pink roses and carnations with white streamers and\ rosebuds. . The bridesmaids were Miss Pa- tricia Dugan of Blue Point and Miss Diane Schroeder of Pat- chogue. Their gowns were the same as the maid-of-honor ^ s , only in peony color. Their horsehair picture hats wore in matching col- or with crowns of flowers. Their bouquets were light pink roses and carnations with white stream- ers and rosebuds. ¦ George Wagner , Jr., of Pat- chogue was best nran. The ushers were David Clayton of Bavport and Lewis Tedaldi of Patchogue. Mrs. Charlotte Gallo p layed the organ selections and also sang Shubert' s \Ave Maria , \ \Mother of Christ\ and \ Panis Angelicus \ b y France. A reception for 80 guests was held at the Sunrise Restaurant in Center Moriches , where a din- ner was served. Music was by Sonny Mannino and band. Mr. and Mrs. Wagner left for a wedding tri p to Atlantic Ter- race, Mtontauk Point. Upon' ' their return they will reside ai-2 '40 River Avenue , Patchogue. Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of Patchogue Hig h School. The bride works at Brook- haven National Laboratory as a clerk typist. The bridegroom is a radar tech- nician in the Coast Guard and is stationed at Staten Island. ALEXANDERSONrBAIER Miss Nancy Baier , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Baier of Bell- port , was married Saturday after- noon to John Leroy Alexanderson , Ensign U. S. Navy, son of Captain and Mrs. Leroy John Alexanderson of Garden City and Brookhaven. The ceremony took place in the Congregational Church , Patchogue. The Rev. Plarold Coleman officia- ted. A reception was held at the Great River . Country Club. Miss Carol Swett was maid-of- honor. DENIS The chapel of thd United States Naval Academy at Annapolis , Md., was the scene of a wedding at 11 a. m. June 8 when Miss Jeanette Elizabeth St. Denis , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hector St. Denis of 07 Seventh Street , Ronkonkoma , became the bride of Ensign Robert Noel Giuffreda , son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Giuffreda of Knight Heron Drive , Stony Brook. The Rev. Henry Rotrige , academy chaplain , officiated at the nup tial mass. The altar was decorated with bouquets of white flower's and the chapel organist played the wedding music. The bride , who was escorted to the ill tar b y hei- father 1 , wore a full' length semi-sheath dress of white peau de soie. The fitted bod- ice was accentuated with a shirred cummerbund and was p icked up in the back with very large roses made of peau de soie. A chapel- length train fell from the roses , blending into the skirt. The bodice had a scoop neckline and short sleeves. Her headpiece was a crown pill box of peau de soie to which a full elbow-length veil of French illusion was attached. She carried a cascade bouquet of cream tea roses with a white orchid cen- ter. The bouquet had streamers of white satin baby ribbon. Mrs. Joseph Giuffreda of Stony Brook , a sister-in-law of the bride- groom , was matron-of-honor. She wore an orchid gown of peau de soie made with a fitted bodice that was sleeveless and had a scoop neckline. The bodice was trimmed with crystal beads. The skirt was full-leng th and fitted. Her head- piece was a cap of flowers match- ing her dress. She carried a cas- cade bouquet of yellow roses and white English daisies. Second Lieutenant Robert Pe- lott oD the Marine Corps and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was best man. The ushers were Ensigns Thomas Lynch of Brooklyn , Robert Rose- dahl of Boston , N. Bruce Rosen- gren of White Bear Lake , Minn., John Beneviedes of Reno , Nov., William H. Wight , Jr., and Dennis Nichols of Baltimore , Md. Following the ceremony, the ushers went to the chapel steps where , with raised sabres , they made an arch for Ensi gn and Mrs. Giuffreda to walk throug h . A reception for 97 guests was held at the Naval Academy Of- ficers Club in Annapolis. Ensi gn and Mrs. Giuffreda will make their home in San Diego. Calif., where Ensign Giuffreda has been assigned to a ship. They left for the west coast Tuesday morn- ing, making it their wedding trip. Both bride and bridegroom are graduates of Port Jefferson Hi g h School. Ensign Giuffreda gradu- ated from the U. S. Naval Acad- emy at Annapolis June 7. She wore a ballerina-length gown of two-tone turquoise silk organza. The skirt was bouffant and the fitted bodice had caplet sleeves. She carried a spray of English white daisies and yellow roses. Following the wedding cere- mony, a reception for 146 guests was held in Huntington Town House. The couple went to the Pocono Mountains on their wedding trip and will make their home in Elm- hurst.
