Each year the PCTA grants a scholarship to a graduate of Pat- chogue High School who plans to enter the field of teaching and who has successfully completed one year of college. Amvets to Honor Danish Girl at July 4 Parade Hammond-Btggs Amvets Post III of Patchogue announced the arrival of Muss Bento Lyck of Gritland , Denmark. Miss Lyck is winner of an essay contest titled the \Danish Fight ior Freedom. \ The contest was sponsored b y the \Frchedskantens Veterans of Denmark\ . Miss Lyck will tour the United States. Her trip will be sponsored by the Amvets organization. The village of Patchogue is the first commun- ity in the United States to he visited by this charming young lad y of Denmark.
