BY GEORGE HORST We participated (not competed) in the old-fashioned tournament held at North Patchogue last Saturday afternoon , We didn 't make any points and we have no excuses to offer. We held a drill last Monda y night and we held our first prac- tice of the season for the old- fashioned . tournaments last Tues- day ni g ht. When we practice that means we are out to really mow down the opposition , so — look out! We are out for first blood this Saturday at Patchogue——the rooting section could stand bol- stering, too ! The big news is the old-fash- ioned picnic for which the boys are going all out to insure every- one a bang-up time. Don ' t forget next Sunday from 1 to 7 p. m. for the best time you ' ve had in yeai-s. Admission price includes beverages.
