Salmon , executive director of the Industrial Home for the Blind , will an- nounce the establishment by IHB of a new service center for blind persons in Suffolk County. The Brookhaven IIIB League is a group oi prominent Brookhaven 1 own- ship lesidents , den oted to pi o\ id- ing volunteer soivices and supp le- mental y funds to the IHB in this area. For the past few months , the Village of Patehogue has pi ovid- ed free space at the Four Sisters Community Center , Patehogue , where the IHB has been conduct- ing a pilot program of services on a one-day-a-week basis. Fifth Precinc t police arrested the men after witnesses heard the burg lar alarm , police said , and told police they saw a truck diive from the Sears , Roebuck & Com- pany warehouse on Rider Avenue , Patehogue. The alarm went out to all cars and four police patrol cars converged on Rider Avenue , near Baker Street. Police said the arrest was made about 20 min- utes after an attempt had been made to force the front door of the building. Charged with attempted bur- glary are Peter Madison , 42 , of 199 North Ocean Avenue , and Karnes La Femina , 46 , of 28 Ri- der Avenue , according to police records Police said the burglary was attempted either Monday night or earl y Tuesday morning. Police said the two suspects were riding in piek-up ti tick when a police patrol aa> nulled them o\ er to the side of the l oad on Rider Avenue early Tuesday. The case was tinned over to Fifth Squad Deter rive Wallac e Nulty for investigtaion .
