MI District Library Ends Reading Course The Middle Island School Dis- trict Library in Coram held its annual children ' s party for mem- bers who had comp leted the pre- scribed Summer r eading course at 2 p. m. Saturday. Mrs. Eugene Koschara . librari- an , was in charge of the party and she presented the children with certificates for completing th° course of reading 10 books and making an oral book report about the stories they read. Mrs. Henry Schwerdtfeger was in charge of the various games p layed. Refreshments were served. The Ladies ' Auxiliary of the Middle Island Fire Department , the Drum and Bugle Corps and the Fire Department will participate in a parade to be held at 8 p. m. August o0 at Mastic Beach and the organizations will also march in a parade at 8 p. m.. August 31 at Centereach.
