Thieves Loot Till , Machines in Eatery A total of $240 in bills and coins was reported Monday to have been taken from the Whirlwind Restaurant on Route 112 , North Patchogue , Fifth Precinct police said. Fifth Squad Detective Kenneth Lowden , who is investigating the burg lary, said entry was gained thr oug h the removal of a panel from a rear overhead door and b y climbing into the building. He said money was taken from two ci garette machines which were forced open and from two cash registers.
