The following day, October 28 , will be the eighth high schooi visitors ' uay, which is open to eleventh and txvelfth grade students interested in science. Dayton ha« returned from a tri p through the Cieat Lakes as far as Chicago. She also spent two days sight- seeing in Montreal , Canada. ' Mr. and Mrs. Willis B. Tuthill and Mrs. Ainslie S. Baird took a trip on the Orient ferry last Thursday and spent the day in New London , Conn., visiting Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. MacAdams ami daughter . Miss Barbara Mc- Adams. Mr. Tuthill mid Mr. Mac- Adams are cousins, who had not seen each other for about 40 Years. Mr. MucAdams is soon to be honored by his lodge as a 50- vear Mason. Herbert S. Sorrell of East port has purchased homestead proper- ty of about six acres of lVwitt S. Tuthill located on South Phil- lips Avenue and has plans to build a home there some time in the future. Mr. Tuthill . who in Au- guest celebrated his eig htieth birthday, says \I may go trave 'ing for a change. '\ Traveling will not be a new experience for him as he has seen something of the world having been with the Ca- nadian Eng ineers in World War I building railroads in France; then homesteaded in Canada where he farmed. He had his first engine- ering experience in the Panama Canal area aft'n\ graduation from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute , Troy. Graveside services were held here Saturday afternoon for Mrs. F.lizabi th Rogers Terry, wife of the late Charles I. Terry and crught. r of the late Dr. and Mrs. Benjamin F. Rogers of Eastport. Mrs . Terry, who was 75 years of age. was born at Sayville and came to Eastport when a young girl and lived there until her mar- riage to Mr. Terry. After hi. . death in 1041 she had lived for 11 years in Hastings. Mich., where a daughter , Mrs. E. L. Phelps has a home. Deceased is survived by two other daughters. Mrs P. Gay- nor Evans of Ann Arbor , Mich., and Mi. -s Sarah Terry of Hamp- ton , Va.. and a brother , Lyman W. Rogers of Washington , Pa. Of- ficiating at the cemetery was the Rev . Charles W. Hubon of St. Mark' s Epi -copal Church , West- hamp ton Beach , of which the de- ceased was a member. Burial was in the family plot in the Rem- senburg Cemetery.
