Con siderable discussion was held on the need among New Yoik State people for expanded savings bank services and more savings bank branch offices throughout the state , esner-ially in its smaller communities . As an example , not one of the four savings banks in Suffolk County are peimitted , un- der existing New Yoi k state law, to open a branch office , it was pointed out.
