Not many persons thought of us- ing it , in fact we used it mostl y for black chocolate cake. But today sour cream is one of the most delectable additions to al- most any dish. On vegetables , with fruit , and as a topp ing for a baked potato , it lifts it into the sublime. This recipe for Dutch Cole Slaw is one of the most tasty ways to use sour cream di '-ssing. It is a favorite recipe given to us by Mrs . David H. Goodfellow of Jennings Avenue , Patchogue. Mrs. Goodfellow who is the new publicity chairman for the Patch- ogue Sorosis , is doing an excellent job of publicity and a wonderful \job\ of cooking ep icurean dishes. We have begged her for another recipe which we will print soon. Mrs. Goodfellow called the re- ci p\ Dutch Cole Slaw because it was given to her b y a Pennsylvania Dutch friend. DUTC H COLE SLAW ' 2 head cabbage 1 medium size sweet onion (Italian or Bermuda) grind together with a coarse grinder In a bowl mix Va p int sour cream <¦ with 3 tablespoons wine vinegar.
