Her headpiece was a tulip-shaped crown of pearl- and crystals which held hei butterfly-length veil. She earned a bouquet oi white i osc» and a white orchid. Mrs. Joan Scuri y of Middle Is- land was mation-of-honor. She was attired in a floor-length gow n 3> of apricot-colored satin and wore . a matching headpiece. She carried a bouquet of burnt orange chry- santhemums. Miss Nancy LoDato of East Is- lip, Miss Carolann McGee of Sel- den and Misb Barbara Caruso of Bohemia were bridesmaids. Their emerald green gown s were fash- ioned like that of the m(aid-of- honor and they wore matching headpieces. They carried bouquets ot yellow and orange chrysanthe- mums. I Anthony Frezza of Rosedale was best man. The ushers were Joseph Kasewitch of East North - poit , Robert Galgano of Selden and Gerald Scurry of Middle Is- land. ! A reception for 120 guests was held at Frank' s Landmark in Cen- tial Islip. Dinner was served at (5 p. m. and music was furnished by a three-p iece band. Mr. and Mr.s . Frezza left for a week' s weddin g- tri p to New Hampshiie. Upon their return they w ill leside in Ronkonkoma. Both the bride and bridegroom attended Port Jefferson High School. The bride is a stenogra- p her at Central Islip State Hospi- tal. The bridegroom is a mechanic at Lawrence Aviation in Port Jef- ferson. SAPANARO—MINEO Miss Geraldine Mineo , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicolo Mineo of Oak Avenue , Shirley, became the bride of John Thomas Sapanaro , son of Mrs. Mary Sapanaro of Brooklyn , and the late John Sap- anaro , at 3:30 p. m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist R. C. Church , Center Moriches. The Rev. Matthew Wisnievvski perfor- med the double ring ceremony be- fore the altar banked with bou- quets of white chrysanthemums. Given in marriage by her fa- ther , the bride wore a white peau de soie gown , st yled with a half- mooned neckline , long sleeves and a cummerbund decorated with two rosettes on the left side. The full- length skirt had a bell-shaped front and a chapel train. Near the top in the back , a pouf terminated ir. a detachable sweeping train. Her pure silk illusion fingertip veil was held in place by a square cut pearl and crystal crown. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses and stephanotis with an or- chid center. The gown was de- signed and made by the bride ' s godmother Mrs. Rose Formica. The matron-of-honor was Mrs. Sheila Cianciarosa of Mastic Beach. She was attired in a bal- krina-length cerise gown of chif- fon over satin. It was fashioned with a square neckline and long chiffon sleev es. She wore a match- ing chiffon pouf and carried a cas- cade bouquet of sky blue roses and carnations. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Dick Yetti of Shirley, Mrs. Salvatore Cervane of Brooklyn and Miss G eraldine Leucke of Maspeth . Their ballerina-leng th gowns of sky blue chiffon over satin were made the same as the matron-of- honor ' s. They wore matching chif- fon poufs and carried cascade bou- quets of cerise roses and carna- tions. Dick Yetti of Shirley served as best man. The ushers were John Mineo of Shirley, a brother of the bride , Salvadore Cervone of Brook- lyn and Roy Mauro of Manorville. The church pews were decorated with satin bows and ribbon streamers. The aisle was covered by a white carpet. Following the ceremony a recep- tion for 170 guests was held at the Plaza Ballroom in Oakdale. A chicken dinner was served and mu- sic was supplied for dancing. The couple left for a two week' s trip to Miami Beach , Fla., and upon their return they will reside on Oak Avenue , Shirley. The bride was graduated from Central Needle Trades Hi g h School in Manhattan and is em- ployed by Newport Homes in Shir- ley. Her husband is employed by White ' s in Massapequa. BENNETT—PERCOCO Miss Katherine Percoco , daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Percoco of Middle Country Road , Selden , became the bride of John H. Ben- nett , son of Mrs. and Mrs. Harry Bennett of Bogart Street, Hunt- ington Station at 4 p. m. October 14 , in St. Margaret of Scotland R. C. Church , Selden. The Rev. Roger Guerault performed the double ring ceremony. Miss Vir- ginia Galgano, organist , played the w edding marches and also was soloist. The bride , who was escorted to the altar by her father , wore a gown of rosepoint lace and pure silk peau de soie. Her fitted bod- ice had ti aditional long sleeves and a sweetheart neckline , re-em- broidered with tiny seed pearls. The fitt ed cummerbund was of peau de soie and the very bouffant skirt had a panier drape at either side. The center front and back panel of the skirt were made of losepoint lace and the panier drape cascaded into a chapel train. She wore a matching- lace double crown adoiTied with seed pearls vnd sequins to which her fingerti p four-tiered pure silk illusion veil was attached. She carried a bou- quet of white roses and stephan- otis. Miss Linda Altebrando of Selden was maid-of-honor. She wore a long bouffant gown of satin in a silver leaf green color. Her fitted bodice had short sleeves and a scoop neckline and she wore matching mitts. Bows of the same material were at either side of the waistline. Her head piece was a matching crown with veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of bionze and gold pompons. The bridesmaids were Miss Den- ise Bennett of Huntington Station , Miss Marie Rulpolo of Patchogue , Miss Dorothy Sorensen of Selden and Mrs. Dominick Percoco of Selden . They wore long bouffant gowns of satin in a Capicine color. Their fitted bodices had short sleeves and a scoop neckline , with bows of the same material at either side of the waistline , and long mitts. They wore matching crowns with veils. Their cascade bouquets were of bronze pompons. William Gallagher of Hunting- ton was best man. The ushers were Salvatore Percoco of Selden , Wal- ter Southard of Northport , Robert Bunce of Babylon and Dominick Percoco of Selden. About 125 guests attended the church ceremony. The main altar was decorated with flower ar- rangements of white gladioli and pompons. A reception was held at the Polish American Hall in Port Jef- ferson Station for 275 guests. The bride is a graduate of Port Jefferson High School and is em- ployed at South Bay Electrical Supply Company, Inc., as a book- keeper. The bridegroom is a graduate of Walt Whitman Hi gh School and is employed with Anton Hren Nur- sery in Huntington, as a landsca- pes After a week' s honeymoon in the Adirondack? and Canada the couple are residing in Selden. Kenneth E. Hoener. The matron-of-honor was the bride ' s sister , Mrs. Martha Raynor of Greenport and the best man was Granville Elliot of Ja- maica. Bridget , the bride ' s daugh- ter by a previous marriage , was flower girl. The bride wore a white sheath dress with lilac embroidery, a lilac hat , and an orchid corsage. The matron-of-honor wore a ra- yon gabardine sheath of Kelly green and beige and a corsage of white carnations. The flower g-irl wore a purple velvet bodice and a full skirt of white nylon with lilac embroidered flowers. She carried a basket of lilac and white chrysanthemums.
