Block , spiritual leader of the^ Brotherhood Synagogue. The elder Rabbi Block promised the congre- gation that his younger brother would endeavor to lead a \lively \ congregation. He then installed his brother. The evening began with a starve-to-death dinner served at 7:30 p. m. Hallock Goldsmith was the chef in charge. Dancing followed 4. to the music of Line Andrew ' s Or- chestra.
