Avery of East Pat- chogue , entry blanks for the Pat- chogue Chamber of Commerce Christmas Home Decoration Con- test have been sent to Dr. Alden T. Stuart , superintendent of schools , for distribution to all the public schools in the area. Blanks for the parochial schools and lo- cal banks will be distributed by the chamber. App lication blanks can also be secured at the chamber office at 8 West Main Street. There will be three cash prizes in each section of the village : $50 first prize , $30 second and $20 third. The Patchogue Electric Light Company has offered to give in- formation on outdoor decorations and special Christmas trimming. Merely go to the PELCO office and request it. Norman W. Roe of East Pat- chogue , whose contribution of $500 for prize money made pos- sible this enlarged program of Christmas decorations , said he is anxious that the young people of the village take part in the trim- ming of their homes. Judging will be done by mem- bers of the Patchogue Civic and Garden Club from 7 to 9 p. m. December 22 , according to Harry T. The store on Middle Country Road which was formerly occupied by the East Middle Island School District 12 , is being redecorated for a new women ' s apparel store and it will be opened in the near future as a Debby Lee store .
